Oceana has recently released a new nationwide poll revealing that most Republican and Democratic voters are concerned about single-use plastics and support policies that reduce them. Included among the key findings: 84% of American voters are concerned about plastic pollution and its impact on the environment and our oceans; 86% are concerned about single-use plastic products; and 81% support local, state, and national policies that reduce single-use plastic.

Americans continue to show support for policies that reduce single-use plastic pollution, yet the production of single-use plastic production continues to grow at an alarming rate.

The full results of Oceana's polling can be found here, and the press release is here.
